Phil DiCarlo and crew will be representing Marblehead, Massachusetts and the Boston Yacht Club in the 2006 National Hospice Regatta. Phil’s Frers 36 “Hot Spur” won class B at the 2005 Hospice Regatta of the North Shore.
Phil has owned “Hot Spur” since 1987 and has compiled an impressive record including six PHRF New England Championship wins. Phil is very active in the Marblehead racing scene and is currently the governor of Marblehead PHRF. The crew includes long time “Hot Spur” regulars Jim Grillo, Jim DaSilva, and Peter Fein. They bring extensive racing experience in both One Design and Handicapped classes.
